Isys Medical’s initial product line addresses the Diabetes epidemic worldwide through the diagnosis and monitoring of Neuropathy – an early sign of Diabetes. The Company has developed a suite of solutions for the early detection of Neuropathy in diabetic, pre-diabetic and at-risk patients that will reside on standard wireless communication devices, as well as innovative stand-alone products incorporating connectivity through Bluetooth technology.

Beginning with our patent pending technology converged with a simple paging device that is already widely used in the medical field, Isys Medical is positioning itself as a leader in non-invasive Neuropathy diagnosis and monitoring devices.

It is estimated that upwards of 20 million Americans suffer from Neuropathy. A 1999 survey found that 8-9% of Medicare recipients have Neuropathy as their primary or secondary diagnosis. The annual cost to Medicare exceeds $3.5 billion. 30% of Neuropathy cases are directly linked to Diabetes.

Diabetes is at near epidemic proportions here in the US and worldwide. The World Health Organization (WHO) predicts the number of people with Diabetes to "more than double from 140 million to 300 million in the next 25 years." In the United States alone, according to the American Diabetes Association, nearly 7% of the population has Diabetes.
